The DRONE DUST COAT is a lined dust coat. Drawing inspiration from a classic constructed formal coat, it is reimagined with a relaxed and urban flavor distinctive of Sease's sartorial comfort wardrobe. Its classic tailoring codes fused with elevated functionality make it a staple outerwear item ideal for contemporary city living and refined casualwear. The coat is crafted in undyed virgin wool and treated with performant 2-layer membrane to ensure water and wind resistancy. The internal cotton-cashmere silk blend lining delivers unmatched comfort. Sections of wool and bio-based nylon Solaro fabric enrich the garment with Sease style.

The undyed virgin wool is obtained from a particular breed of merino black sheep, characterized by a unique and intense shade of brown. This is 100% natural colour that does not require any dyeing chemical process.

• Double front fastening with full zip and buttons.
• Snap buttoned front pockets and back slit.
• Invisible zipped inner pocket and chest pocket hidden under lapel.

SARTORIAL COMFORT

Sartorial Comfort reinterprets classic menswear through a contemporary lens, blending timeless elegance with modern functionality. Traditional tailoring codes are softened with technical details—elastic inserts, full-zip closures, and unstructured silhouettes—creating garments that move with the body and adapt to daily life.
Fabrics such as pinstripes and checks, rooted in the sartorial heritage, are reworked into lighter, more flexible compositions like yarn-dyed jerseys, offering new comfort without compromising sophistication. The result is a wardrobe defined by relaxed refinement—pieces that express effortless style and urban ease. Sartorial Comfort embodies the essence of Sease: where craftsmanship meets innovation, and elegance embraces comfort.

Water resistance -

Assesses the effectiveness of the barrier against rain and moisture. The grading (1 to 5) measures the actual level of protection: a Grade 1 can be found, for example, in basic fabrics with high permeability, while a Grade 5 indicates total impermeability, a result that can be achieved by using solutions such as three-layer (3L) membranes combined with fully taped seams or equivalent technologies.

Breathability -

It measures the ability to dissipate water vapor and body heat. The system grades performance: a Grade 1 provides basic breathability, appropriate for protective materials for normal urban use, while a Grade 5 ensures maximum vapor escape during intense exertion, achievable, for example, with high-performance membranes (e.g., >20,000g/m²) or special active fabrics.

Wind resistance -

It measures the ability to block cold air flows. The score reflects the degree of shielding: a Grade 1 provides maximum ventilation (a typical feature, for example, of "Air Permeable" structures), up to a Grade 5 for absolute insulation against gusts, which can be achieved through "Total Block" membranes or very high-density weave fabrics.

Lightness -

It analyzes the specific weight and packability of the garment. Grading defines practicality of transport and packability: a Grade 1 is generally assigned to outerwear that emphasizes weight and structure, while a Grade 5 indicates maximum agility, typical (but not exclusive) of "Ultralight" garments, designed with minimalist designs and easily foldable materials.

Warmth -

It indicates the level of body temperature maintenance and thermal insulation. The scale rates the intensity of protection: a Grade 1 indicates light insulation, often characterized by the absence of padding or thin linings, while a Grade 5 certifies extreme warmth, which can be provided by materials such as goose down with 800+ Fill Power or ultra-high-weight synthetic insulation.
